Hutington is caused due to genetic mutation which is autosomal and dominant. i.e. why a person withHuntington'sdisease has one non-HDalleleand one HDallele. Hence, there is a50% chance that the non-HDallelewill bepassedon and a50% chance that the HDallelewill bepassedon. This means that each child of an individual with HD has a50% chance of getting the HDallele.

In HD shows loss of neurotransmitters, including GABA, acetylcholine and glutamate, which correlates with the loss of small neurons.

So actual reason is genetic mutation and 50% chances are because it is autosomal dominant.

So both are incorrect
