Apple and strawberry are false fruits .whether they are dicot or monocot.can u plz explain the modifications in it that convert them to false fruit

apple and strawberry both are dicots. in strawberry some of the flesh is not derived from ovary instead derived from some adjacent tissues exterior to carpel whereas in apple major part of fruit is formed from thalamus not from ovary....hope this helps u....:):)
