Dear student
Transcription is the process of RNA synthesis using DNA template strand which is carried out by RNA polymerase; any of two DNA strands can serve as a template. Translation is the process of synthesis of polypeptides by polymerization of amino acids on ribosomes using the mRNA triplets as a template. Translation occurs in the nucleus as DNA is present in the nucleus only whereas translation occurs on ribosomes present in the cytoplasm. Thus, the correct answer is option B.
