According to ncert, in gymnosperms, the seeds that develop post-fertilisation are necked. Are the seed after fertilization covered?

Post fertilization and after fertilization are same thing. Gymnosperms develop naked seeds after/post fertilization unlike angiosperms. Angiosperms have seeds covered by fruit wall.
