y=(root2)x-4a(root2)
squaring onn both sides and substute y2=4ax we get the quaradic 
x2 -10ax+16a2=0
by solving we get x=2a,8a
and respective y values are 2(2½ )a,4(21/2)a 
so distance between the points (2a,2(2½ )a) and (8a,4(21/2)a) is  the ans
