Hi,First in triangle AFE => /_AFE =60° and AF=FE (isoceles triangle therefore each equals 30°) now construct a perpendicular bisector from F to AE and let that point be O now in triangle FOE. /_FOE=90° and /_OFE =60°, SO using trignometry we get OE=2_/3 Therefore AE=2 x 2_/3= 4_/3Now in triangle ADE. /_AED=90° (angle in a semicircle) and/_EAD=30°. so by using trignometry we get AD=8
