hello gaurav, the given conic is of the form
ax^2+by^2+2gx+2fy+2hxy+c= 0.
it is an ellipse if h^2 is less than ab, parabola if h^2= ab and hyperbola if h^2 is greater than ab.
here obviously h= 82/2= 41 and a=b= 9
so h^2 – ab= 41^2 – 9*9 which is greater than 0.
so it is a hyperbola.
