Suppose three lines are forming a triangle .So ,in this way 4 circles will be possible one interior and 3 exterior of triangle.

If three lines are given such that no two of them are parallel and they are not concurrent then a definite triangle is formed by them. There are four circles which touch sides of a triangle
 
3 ex circles while one in circle
