my answer is coming out to be r= 8/9
basically i formed two eqns (2 – r)^2= x^2+r^2
and (1+x)^2+r^2= (1+r)^2
here r is the radius of circle B and C.
let the intersection of circle B and C be called P. then the line through A s centre passing through P will also be Ds diameter. let this line intersect circle A at Q such that Q lies between P and As center. then we have taken QP=x. also radius of D is obviously 2. hence the eqns. kindly approve :)
