Nowadays jee is not asking these type of questions...but yeah To solve them you need to solve both part
A. to find image of the given point first find the foot of perpendicular by letting it in terms of k as it lies on the given line and to get k solve it with Dr’s of the line
once you get FoP mirror image and given point ‘s mid point is FoP only
