Ordinate means y coordinate = 1
 
Hence
 
x² + 2 = 4
x² = 2
Hence
 
x = ± sqrt(2)
 
Hence now we have to find tangent at ( sqrt(2), 1) and ( - sqrt(2), 1)
 
Now
 
At (sqrt(2), 1)
 
x * sqrt(2) + 2 y* 1 = 4
 
Similarly you can find at other point also
