Slope of given points (-1,2)and (0,1) is -1
By differentiating the eq y=x2+1
We get dy/dx = 2x
That means slope of tangent of a point (x1,y1) on parabola  is 2(x1)
So we can equate -1 to 2x and find point at which tangent slope is -1
2x=-1
X=-1/2
Y=(-1/2)2+1
Y=1/4+1
Y=5/4
(X,Y)=(-1/2,5/4)
