the options are

1)x^2+y^2-6x+6y+8=0

2)x^2+y^2+6x-6y+9=0

3)x^2+y^2+30x-30y+225=0

my question is:

the equation of circle which touches the axis at only one point should be valid answer which is the second one becoz 6^2-4.9=0 but answer given is 3rd one,plz explain me where i have gone wrong...

Dear Anmol!

None of the equation passes through (3,-6) ..so i guess the first condition is wrong ..or equations are wrong ..

(3,-6) is not satisying any of the equations...
