If the opposite sides of a square are (-2,3) & (8,5) . Then find the equations of sides (without taking angles). [we should take ABCD as a square and we shouldn`t use the following: Angle in a square is Right Angle By taking Diagonals.

dear student,

first assume the coordinates to be x1,y1 and x2,y2

apply distance formula so that you can get two relations one b/w x1 n y1 & other between x2 n y2,

then by using the condition that the opposite sides of a square are parallel

thus we get four equations and on solving them we can get the answer,
