(-2/9)= [(-2 × 1)/ (9 × 1)] = (-2/9)
(-4/3)= [(-4 × 3)/ (3 × 3)] = (-12/9)
Clearly,
(-12/9) < (-3/9) < (-2/9)
Hence,
(-4/3) < (-1/3) < (-2/9)
