a/x-a + b/x-b=2Cross multiplication ax+bx-2ab/x2-bx-ax+ab=2ax+bx-2ab=2 (x2-bx-ax+ab)ax+bx-2ab=2x2-2bx-2ax+2ab2x2-3bx-3ax+4ab=02x2-3 (a+b)x+4aba=2; b=-3(a+b); c=4abD=b2-4ac=[-3 (a+b)]^2-4 (2)(4ab)=9 (a+b)^2-32ab=9a^2+18ab+9b^2-32ab=(3a-3b)^2Now,X=3 (a+b)+_(3a-3b)/2After solving this we get X=3a/2 or x =3b/2
