Logarithm has sometimes been asked in iit jee. It is included in algebra as well as trigonometry. If you but any book for iit jee algebra , there is a reasonable chance you see the topic logarithm in the index.It is an easy topic. So not worry.

Logarithm is based on few basic formulae if u will be well versed with them then u can easily solved them. Yes log questions are important in IIT JEE paper
