Distance of the point P(x1,y1,z1) from a plane ax+by+cz=d(direction cosines =(l1,m1,n1) and parallel to a line with direction cosines (l2,m2,n2) is given as
D=\left | ax_{1}+by_{1}+cz_{1}-d\right |/\left | l_{1}l_{2}+m_{1}m_{2}+n_{1}n_{2}\right |
Using the above formula we can get the answer.
