a⁴+ 1/a⁴--3
= a⁴+ 1/a⁴ – 2 – 1
= (a² - 1/a²)² – 1
= (a² – 1/a² -1)(a²- 1/a² + 1) ( using ( a² – b²) = (a+b)(a-b) )
Difference between the factors = (a² – 1/a² -1) –(a²- 1/a² + 1)
=2 Ans.
