Dear Student

When term have the same algebraic factors, they are like terms.
Then, we have to subtract the like terms
= b (5 -a)–a (b - 5)
= 5b–ab–ab + 5a
= 5b + ab (-1 -1) + 5a
= 5a + 5b - 2ab

Thanks
