Solve the following inequations -
(a) (x -1)( x² – x – 2 )^1/2= 0

(b)( 2 – x – x² )^1/2 = x – 4

Hi

$\\(x-1)\sqrt{x^2-x-2}=0 \\=>x=1$ or $ \sqrt{x^2-x-2}=0 \\=>x^2-x-2=(x+1)(x-2) \\=>$we get $x=-1,2$
