$Re (z_1 \overline{z_2})=0 \Rightarrow z_1, z_2 are perpendicular

i.e. z_1 = (\cos \theta, \sin \theta); z_2 = (-\sin \theta, \cos \theta) for some angle

Then w_1 = (\cos \theta, -\sin \theta); w_2 = (\sin \theta, \cos \theta)

Then its immediately seen that |w_1| = 1 ,|w_2| = 1 and w1 and w2 are also perpendicular. Which means that Re (w_1 \overline{w_2})= 0
