Ans:

$f(x)= x-2$

There is only one root of f(x) which is x = 2. Since the coefficient of x is +ve, so f(x) is positive on the right side of 2 on the number line & -ve on the left side. So the solution of:

$f(x)>0$

$\Rightarrow x>2$
