Dear Student

From the question it is given that a = -1
We have,
= 3a–8a + 5 + 1
= - 5a + 6
Then, substitute the value of a in the equation
= - (5 × (-1)) + 6
= - (-5) + 6
=5 + 6
= 11

Thanks
