we know 1+w+w 2 = 0 hence we can write 1 + w = –w 2 & 1 + w 2 = –w now ( –w –w)( –w 2 –w 2 ) = (–2w)* (–2w 2 ) 4 w 3 = 4 hence proved(we know that w 3 = 1)
