this is an easy ques.
we are given that ∑xi/(1 – xi) = 1......(1)
and S=∑xi= 1
now multiply (1) by S on both sides.
∑S*xi/(1 – xi)= S
now replace the S on LHS by 1
∑1*xi/(1 – xi) = S
∑(xi+1 – xi)*xi/(1 – xi) = S
∑xi^2/(1 – xi)+xi(1 – xi)/(1 – xi)= S
or ∑xi^2/(1 – xi)+∑xi= S
or ∑xi^2/(1 – xi) + S= S
or ∑xi^2/(1 – xi) = 0
kindly approve :)
