2b = a + c
2b^2 = a^2 + c^2
hence
2(a + c)^2 /4 = a^2 + c^2
a^2 + c^2 + 2ac = 2 a^2 +2 c^2
hence (a – c)^2 = 0
a = c
hence a = b = c

2/b^2 = 1/a^2 + 1/c^2
Thus 8/(a+c)^2 = (a^2+c^2)/(ac)^2
By AM GM inequality,
(a^2+c^2)/2≥ac
And, (a+c/2)^2 ≥ac
Thus, 8/(a+c)^2≤ (a^2+c^2)/(ac)^2
So a=c thus a=b=c
