as x tends to zero, cosx tends to 1. but note that no matter how close x gets to zero, cosx will still be less than 1 and attain the value 1 iff x=0 exactly, which is not the case. so, [cosx]= 0 (gif) exactly while sinx only tends to zero. so 0 divided by a really small number not equal to zero still would be zero.
hence limit exists and equals zero
