Sol:x^4-8x^3+18x^2-8x+2 can be written x^4-8x^3+16x^2+2x^2-8x+8-6 now factorize you get (x^2-4x)^2+2(x-2)^2-6 now x=2+(3)^1/2 so x^2=7+4(3)^1/2 putting value [7+4(3)^1/2-4(2+(3)^1/2)]^2+6-6=1 ..So option c is correct
