Q.4 it is a infinite GP
a = 1 and r = 1/e
then sum = a/1-r = e/(e-1)

rate after first year = 10000*0.75 = 7500
rate after second year = 7500*0.75 = 5625
rate after third year = 5625*0.75 = 4218.75

1 + 2 +4 + 5 + 7 + 8+..................+58 + 59
= (1 + 2 + 3 +4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8+..................+ 57 +58 + 59) – (3 + 6 +9 +.......+ 54 + 57)
 =  59*60/2   – (19/2)*(3+57)
 = 1770 – 570 = 1200
