Length of tangent = sqrt(S1)
 
hence 
 
sqrt (x2 + y2 – 2x – 4y+ 4) = 3
 
x2 + y2 – 2x – 4y + 4 = 9
 
x2 + y2 – 2x – 4y – 5 = 0
