The point A(1 ,-3) B (2 .-2) C (5, 1) are collinear then harmonic conjugate of B with respect to A and C is ?????

Let B divides A and C is ratio k:1
5k + 1/k+1 = 2
3k = 1
k = 1/3
 
Hence
 
Hence divides internally
 
Now harmonic  conuugatc will be the point which divides A and C in 1:3 externally
 
Hence
 
Or we can say that A divides in 1:2 internally
 
2x + 5 / 3 = 1
 
x = -1
 
And
 
2y + 1/3 = -3
 
y = -5
 
Hence harmonic conjugate = (-1, -5)
