Dear student
 
first of all put value x by which polynomial become zero. this step is hit and trial step.
generally x =  –3, –2, –1, 0 , 1, 2, 3 are the value at which polynomial becomes zero.
 
After that you are left with quadratic polynomial and you can easily solve quadratic polynomial.
