Finding limi at 2
2x/1 for x=2
=4
4a-2b=4-3=1
9a-3b+3= 6-a+b
On simplification, 10a-4b =3
a=0.5; b= 0.5

if it is continuous at x = 2
then LHL = RHL = f(2)
4 = 4a – 2b + 3
4a – 2b = 1. (i)
Also
for x = 3
LHL = RHL = f(3)
9a – 3b + 3 = 6 – a + b
10a – 4b = 3. (ii)
onnsolving (i) and (ii)
2a = 1
a = ½
hence 2b = 4a – 1 = 1
b = ½
