Considering there are 100 students.
10 read both hindi & english
which means that
50 read only hindi
30 read only english
So total comes to 90.
(i) So the probability that she reads neither hindi nor english newspaper is
10 out of 100 which is 10/100 i.e. 1/10.
(ii) So if she reads English, the probability that she reads Hindi newspaper is
10 out of 30+10 which is 10/40 i.e. ¼.
