Taking LCM and then solving
[(x²-y²)² + (x²+y²)² ]/ (x⁴-y⁴) = sqrt(2)
2(x⁴ + y⁴)/ (x⁴ - y⁴) = sqrt(2)
(x⁴ + y⁴) /( x⁴ - y⁴) = 1/ sqrt(2)
