# If x, y, and z are arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic means respectively of two distinct position numbers, then A. z < y < x B. x < y < z C. x < z < y D. x > z > y

The relation between A.M., G.M. and H.M of two positive numbers is
$A\geq G\geq H$
Here the numbers are two distinct positive numbers, hence the relation becomes
$A> G> H$
Now A.M is x, G.M. is y and H.M. is z, so the relation becomes
$x> y> z$
The correct option is (A) i.e. z<y<x.
