has integral roots, then values of ‘a’ are

on simplifying
 
x^2 –(a +10)x + 10a + 1 = 0
 
 
x^2 –(a +10)x + (10a + 1) = 0
 
now 
 
if we use formula method to find the roots. we will see that
 a = 8 and 12 are the ony solutions.
