(b) symmetric only

(d) reflexive and transitive only
the correct andwer given in the book is ©
I don’t understand how can the answer of the above question be transitive ?
please someone try to answer this question, it’s urgent..

The answer or question seems to be wrong, for R to be transitive the relation should have beein defined as
R = {(b, a), (a, c), (b, c) }

If there exists for eg (a,b) and (b,c), Then we need to check transitivity else not. So, This relation is Transitive.
