its  a real number . as per the question option no a turns out to be the correct option . 
if we will solve by substituting the value of x as 3 , then 
the answer will be coming out as 
0/3 – 1 and 0/3 =0 so, 0-3 = -3 
and -3  is a real; number , so, option no a will turns out to be the correct option
