I have atached image.please solve (iv) and (v).
Answer by Arun(22375 points) :
this can be proved using factor theorem
if a is replqced by b then it becomes 0
hence (a – b) is a factor similarly (b – c) and ( c – a) is a factor.
hence it is assumed as k ( a – b) (b – c) (c – a) ( ab + bc + ca)
Now compare any term
we gett k = 1
hencce
= ( a – b) (b – c) (c – a) ( ab + bc + ca)
but why ab+bc+ca is added as factor here,a-b,b-c,c-a are factors by factor theorem.How come ab+bc+ca has come into picture?

Dear student

we have to consider symmetric factor of two degree.
hence it can be (a^2 + b^2 + c^2) or ( ab + bc + ca)

but on further calculation and comparing, (a^2 + b^2 + c^2) is rejected.
