let costheta= c and sintheta=s
now a+ib=3/(2+c+is)
take magnitude both sides and square
a^2+b^2= 9/[(2+c)^2+s^2] = 9/(5+4c)
so that a^2+b^2+3= 3(8+4c)/(5+4c)= 6(2+c)/(5+4c)......(1)
also, a+ib=3/(2+c+is)= 3(2+c – is)/(5+4c)
so a= 3(2+c)/(5+4c)......(2)
now dividing (1) by (2)
[a^2+b^2+3]/a= 2= lambda option d is correct
