For what value of k, the equation kx-9y=66 and 2x-3y=8 will have no solution?

aX+bY = c          and
dX+eY=f            
will not have any solution if  the two lines are different and parallel to each other.  So to find K  in your question, we will equate the slopes and that gives us  k=6.
