mycroft holmes10 Years agoGiven expression can be written as (x4 -1) + (x3+x) + 8(x2+1)+(px+q-x-7). The expressions in the first three brackets are all divisible by x2+1. Which means we must have px+q-x-7 = 0. i.e. p=1,q=7
