Find the total number of pentagons formed by joining all the diagonals of the squares in a chess board.

according to my knowledge there is no such possible case to form a pentagon and even hexagon so the prob to form such things using diagonals is 0

By joining all the diagonals we can form pentagons. Add up a square and a triangle(which is formed by joining all diagonals) above the side of the square to get a pentagon.
