Use the method of difference to find out the order when the difference will be constant .In this case you will see that second order difference is going to be in geometric progression with first term as 3 and the common difference as 2. As second order difference is in GP so prior to that you will write polynomial relation.

put in the values of terms for “n” corresponding to first , second and third term..You will reach up to the end result.
