Find the equation of the parabola that satisfies the following conditions: Vertex (0, 0) passing through (2, 3) and axis is along x-axis.

Hello student,

As the vertex is (0,0) and axis is along x axis it is of the form y²=4ax

also it is passing through (2,3) hence 9=8a;so a=8/9

so the equation of parabola is y²=32/9(x)
