For finding out the domain of the sqrt function, is should only take care of the condition that anything inside the sqrt should be always greater then or equal to positive only. It can’t be negative.

Just apply these condition to find the possible values of x.

0 to 2pi ,,,,pi/2 to -pi/2 these are the answers to the first two questions... similarly solve the third question and obtain the domain. always remember that denominator not equal to zero and square root should be greater than equal to zero as vijay sir said...
