The given terms can be divided into 2 series as
 
S= (1+1/9+1/81+..........)+(2/3+2/27+........)
 
Applying the formula for sum of infinite terms,
 The sum of 1st series is
 
S1=9/8 
 
Similarly
 
S2= 3 / 4
 
Adding them we get S=15/8

the answer for your question is 15/8
that will come by solving the problem in the way of take that sum of series into two splits and add them
