we want that question should be just solved.
Hence
P(solving the question) = 1 – P(No one solved the question)
= 1 – [(1 – 1/2)(1 – 1/3)(1 – 1/4)]
= 1 – [1/2 * 2 / 3 * 3/4]
= 1 – ¼
= 3/4
